Est. in the backyard

Wood pieces turned
one at a time.

I'm Andy Lassner. I turn each bowl, box, and platter on the lathe in my backyard workshop — cherry, walnut, maple, and whatever hardwood happens to have real character.

Three handcrafted wooden bowls in cherry, walnut, and spalted maple

01

Solid hardwood

Locally sourced walnut, cherry, maple, and oak — chosen block by block for grain and character.

02

Turned by hand

Every piece is shaped on the lathe by me, one at a time — no molds, no production line.

03

Food-safe finish

Natural oils and waxes, hand-buffed. Built to be used every day and to age beautifully.

"No two pieces are the same. I let the grain and character of each block decide the shape."

The workshop

A hobby in the corner of the yard, grown into a craft.

Every piece I make begins with a single block of timber, chosen for its story — the burl, the spalt, the natural edge. Then it's hours at the lathe, by hand, until it becomes a bowl.
